ACS has through his subsidiary company Public Checkpoint Amsterdam BV (PCA) an EU-approved veterinary and phytosanitary checkpoint. PCA is an initiative of ACS together with the Port of Amsterdam and has a public character.

This checkpoint is furnished according increasingly stringent European Union requirements and regulations.The tasks to be performed formalities relating to "food" will in future only be tightened. PCA is ready for now and for the future, the EU-checkpoint is one of the few inspection posts in the Western European ports which control all testing procedures in one location namely :

• Products for human consumption (frozen, chilled and ambient)
• Products for non human consumpption (frozen, chilled and ambient)
• Phytosanitary products (products from the plant kingdom)

PCA allows containers to be approved prior to handling in cooperation with Amsterdam Containers Terminals (ACT) called "pre-check". The container shall be submitted for testing before transport to the destination place. The container is now approved and equipped with all necessary documents ready at the terminal to be picked up. This means no delay for the carrier and that your container is available 24 hours a day.
